THE WHARTON
ENERGY & CLIMATE CLUB
the center of energy AND CLIMATE at wharton
WECC is the hub for energy and climate engagement at Wharton, connecting over 150 students across industry, finance, and policy. We maintain partnerships across the energy landscape, including power and utilities, renewables, energy storage, and traditional oil & gas. Beyond energy, we engage stakeholders addressing today's biggest climate questions across transportation, industrials, carbon capture, carbon markets, and beyond. Whether you're exploring energy for the first time or building on years of experience, WECC offers the people, resources, and opportunities to accelerate your path.
FOR STUDENTS
WECC supports students exploring careers in energy and climate. Members engage through our flagship conference, speaker events, professional trainings, and career treks to key hubs like SF, NYC, DC, and TX. We enhance our community through small-group dinners, happy hours, and other social events designed to foster lasting professional connections.
FOR ENERGY AND CLIMATE PROFESSIONALS
WECC partners with industry leaders to create meaningful engagement through speaker series, fireside chats, treks, and our annual Wharton Energy & Climate Conference.
